  • Introduction

Student Counseling Center was established to help students to solve problems of adaptation, academic pursuit, career and aptitude, interpersonal and emotional issues that may occur in their campus life.

First, individual and group consultations with professional consultants and group programs to enhance adaptation and problem-solving skills.

Second, promoting self-understanding and acceptance through systemic psychology test including career and aptitude test, personality test and character test, ensuring mental health and balanced personality of students.

Third, research activities to help with counseling by identifying general characteristics of the students, attitudes and satisfaction related to campus life, interpersonal relationships and mental health status.

The above-mentioned diverse activities are aimed at program development to help the students develop adaptability. Student Counseling Center was opened in September 2004 on the first floor of Students Union Building. As more students used it, it moved inside the student cafeteria on the first floor of Hoyeon Building 4 to ensure more visits.

Student Counseling Center will do its best to ensure direct assistance to life of students and professors of Korea University Sejong Campus and better mental health services.
