As the number of overseas arrivals increases, the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency sent a plan for fully vaccinated individuals from abroad to issue a vaccination confirmation document in order to maintain the same quarantine guidelines that are being applied to domestically vaccinated people. For individuals who were fully vaccinated abroad to receive the confirmation document, Korea University Sejong Campus has provided the following relevant information below:

A. Target

(1) Individuals who have a Quarantine Exemption Application due to being vaccinated with the required number of vaccine doses overseas.

(2) United States Forces Korea, the Diplomatic Corps, and their spouses, who have been fully vaccinated by their governing institution either domestically or abroad.

 B. Accepted vaccine: Only those with WHO Emergency Use Listing status

 - AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, Janssen, CNBG, and Sinovac

C. Issuance Start Date: Thursday, October 7, 2021

Q4. What benefits are available in the country after the issuance begins?

From October 7, the same social distancing guidelines and quarantine guidelines that are applied to fully vaccinated individuals in the country are to be applied to those entering the country and those who had close contact with confirmed cases.
