Three Graduate Students from Korea University Sejong Campus Selected for the National Research Foundation's 2024 Graduate Research Encouragement Fund

Three graduate students from Korea University Sejong Campus have been selected for the ‘2024 Master’s Program Research Encouragement Fund’ and ‘2024 Ph.D. Program Research Encouragement Fund,’ which are programs overseen by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF).

 

This program is part of the NRF’s initiative to nurture the next generation of scholars by supporting thesis research for master’s and Ph.D. students at domestic universities. Its goal is to provide research funding to graduate students with creative and challenging research ideas.

 

The selected graduate students are Lee Yoonseong, Kim Nari, and Jo Eunbi. Their research topics are as follows: ‘Non-invasive Vagus Nerve Stimulation Research,’ ‘Development of a Deep Learning Algorithm for Estimating Body Composition Using Biosignals,’ and ‘Development and Generalization of Neurobiomarkers for Predicting Performance in Memory Tasks.’ Their research capabilities have been recognized, leading to their selection for this program.

 

Lee Yoonseong will receive a total of 24 million won in research funding over the course of one year, while Kim Nari and Jo Eunbi will each receive a total of 12 million won in research funding over the next year.
