Outstanding research achievements recognized among 17 teams in the electrical, electronics, and semiconductor fields
The research team from the Department of AI Semiconductor Engineering at Korea University Sejong Campus received the President’s Award of the Institute of Electronics and Information Engineers (IEIE) at the 2025 Results Presentation Conference of the Women Graduate Engineering Research Team Program supported by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity (WISET).
The conference was held on October 17 at the SC Convention Center in Seoul, where 17 research teams in the electrical, electronics, and semiconductor fields presented the outcomes of seven months of research.
The WISET Women Graduate Engineering Research Team Program is jointly organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and WISET and aims to identify research teams composed of women graduate students and undergraduate students in science and engineering, and to support the strengthening of their self-directed research capabilities and leadership.
The research team was led by outstanding women graduate student principal investigator Jo Minseon (integrated master’s–doctoral program, Department of AI Semiconductor Engineering), with participation from Yoo Jiho and Yoo Dongha of the Department of AI Semiconductor Engineering, and Cho Seongyeon of the Department of Electronic and Information Engineering.
Professor Jung Sungyup of the Department of AI Semiconductor Engineering served as the supervising professor. The team was one of 100 advanced research teams selected across eight engineering fields and conducted research for seven months with support from WISET.
