
On January 6, Korea University Sejong Campus and the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage under the National Heritage Administration signed a memorandum of understanding at Yuhyeondang Hall (維賢堂) of the Korea National University of Cultural Heritage in Buyeo gun, Chungcheongnam do, to strengthen academic and educational cooperation in the field of cultural heritage.
This agreement was promoted to enhance educational competitiveness by combining the cultural heritage expertise of both universities with their strengths in information and communications technology (ICT), and to cultivate professional individuals who can contribute to regional communities and national development through organic cooperation.
The main contents of the agreement include student exchange and mutual recognition of academic credits, exchange of educational and research personnel, exchange of academic materials, publications, and information, and other forms of cooperation for mutual development.
The two universities plan to prioritize practical student exchange and credit recognition centered on the field of cultural heritage. Through this cooperation, students are expected to grow into convergent human resources equipped with both theoretical knowledge and practical competencies.

Through this agreement, Korea University Sejong Campus aims to contribute to academic development and the cultivation of future professionals centered on its Division of Cultural Heritage Convergence.
Furthermore, by providing active administrative support and maintaining close cooperation, the university seeks to establish a foundation for sustainable education and research collaboration that creates synergy between the two institutions.
