Exchange student

International Exchange and Education Center of Korea University Sejong Campus runs exchange student programs to develop global leaders needed in the era of internationalization. The programs are active mostly in the Americas. Students will e dispatched to an affiliated foreign university for up to two semesters to learn languages and cultures and return to Korea University with the credits recognized. During the dispatch period, exchange students will pay their tuition fees to Korea University and receive classes under the same conditions with the affiliated university students.

Qualification for Application

  • Undergraduate students who have acquired credits pertaining to two or more semesters as of the dispatch point of time as well as transfer students or students on a leave of absence of Korea University Sejong Campus with credits pertaining to one or more semesters
  • Average grade over all semesters: 3.0 or higher
  • Anyone satisfying all of the above-mentioned conditions and the minimum standards required by the affiliated university

Screening Method

  • First-round: Screening the students having received 3.0 or more of average credit over all semesters and satisfying the application qualifications required by each affiliated university
  • Second-round: Self-introduction and study plan 30% + Personality interview in Korean 30% + English interview 40%

Screening Standard

  • Participants who have already taken part in ESP/VSP and college's independent dispatch program pertains to the second-order candidates.
  • Students who have given up after signing up for ESP/VSP and college's independent dispatch program or in the middle of the program are the third-order candidates.
