Korea University Sejong Campus Takes Part in Rent Reduction Campaign

Korea University Sejong Campus (Vice President Kim Young) takes part in Rent Reduction Campaign.

The Korea University Sejong Campus Osong Business Incubation Center intends to reduce the rent of ten resident companies that have taken up occupancy in twenty-one laboratories in the center. The decision to reduce the rental rate for the companies by 30% from April 1 to June 30, was made in order to aid the them in overcoming the financial shock caused by COVID-19.

Paik Seungpil, manager of the Sejong Job Center, said, “We will construct a strong link between industry, the school, and laboratories, and make an effort to overcome the difficulties being experienced by local startup businesses that have resulted from the present situation.” He added that, “I hope the Rent Reduction Campaign spreads into the local community as a way to share the pain in this situation.”

Kim Hwi, dean of the Osong Business Incubation Center, said, “Our center supports infrastructure for the success of startups in Chungcheongbuk-do,” stressing that, “We will run the startup support program including reducing the rent and sparing no expense.”
