Korea University Sejong Job Center Organizes “Untact Career Q&A Talk Talk” for Career Counseling

On July 25, the Korea University Sejong Job Center started 'Untact Career Q&A Talk Talk,' a program for students who are tired of preparing for employment and taking online classes caused by COVID-19 to express their career concerns.

The program was divided into two parts, among lower and upper-year students, based on a survey that was conducted in advance about concerns regarding employment and their careers.

'Untact Career Q&A Talk Talk' was comprised of several opportunities for undergraduates to receive core solutions for their career problems such as career counseling based on the experience and expertise of professionals, various solutions for students’ concerns, and employment knowledge passed down from graduate students.

A total of 162 students participated in the program and their satisfaction level was found to be 4.43 out of 5. “Through the program, I found out that my classmates had similar concerns, and I think I will be able to prepare with more certainty due to the advice and motivation I got from my seniors,” said one participant.

According to Sejong Job Center Consultant Lee Na-hyun, “To set this program apart from other lecture programs, we provided another in-depth counseling opportunity after the talk for students who need career and employment counseling so that they can solve their career concerns in a more timely manner.”

The Sejong Job Center will continue to develop quality career and employment programs so that students can solve their career issues and get their career paths moving in the right direction.
