[Korea University Sejong Campus In-School COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines for 2022 Fall Semester] Information

Korea University Sejong Campus COVID-19 Quarantine guidelines for the second semester of 2022 are provided below. Please follow the instructions to prevent infection and spread within the school.

- Based on University Quarantine and Academic Operation Plan for the Second Semester of 2022 (Ministry of Education_22.8.4) and University COVID-19 Infection Prevention and Management Guide (6th Edition) (Ministry of Education_22.4.18)

 

 

1. Standards for school attendance (Korea University's response guideline as of 22.4.18)

 

◎Before going to class: If you have symptoms (fever above 37.5℃, sore throat, etc.)

  1) Stay home and take a rapid antigen test

  2) Those who have positive results should fill out and submit the online Google form (https://url.kr/9m3goy )

     - According to the government guidelines, you must quarantine for 7 days (stop attending school during quarantine period)

     - If a person living with you is confirmed, take one rapid antigen test (RAT) within 3 days with manual monitoring (10 days);

 One additional rapid antigen test (RAT) is recommended on the 6th or 7th day (observe government recommendations within the period of manual monitoring)

  3) When the test result is ‘negative’, you may attend classes

  4) Even in the case of a negative result, if fever of 37.5℃ or higher and respiratory symptoms persist or worsen, retest

 

◎During or After School Hours

  1) Autonomous fever and health check

  2) Strict personal hygiene management such as wearing a mask and washing hands on campus

  3) Constantly check and comply with government and university guidelines

 

 

2. Lecture Room Quarantine Standards

 

◎ Sitting one seat apart from each other or installing a partition in every seat is voluntary

◎ Ventilation should be done at least 3 times a day (10 minutes)

 

 

3. Quarantine management

 

A. Access control

   1) Changed access control for each building to before pandemic (managed by the department in charge of the building)

   2) Open the student union club club rooms, the student council rooms of each college, and the small club rooms

   3) Lecture room rental allowed

   4) Temperature check is self-measured at the main entrance of a building where a temperature checker is installed.

   5) Observe the 6 personal quarantine rules (indoor mask wear, hand sanitizer, etc.)

 

B. Accommodation programs

   - When hosting or conducting, report to the head of the department or department and proceed with faculty and staff

 

C. Dormitory

   - In the event of a confirmed case, the quarantine room is accommodated or the student is sent home

 

D. Wearing a mask 

   - Mandatory to wear indoors, obligatory when more than 50 people attend, even outdoors

 

E. Ventilation 

   – Conducted 3 times a day (10 minutes) or more

 

F. School cafeteria 

   – Wearing a mask outside meal hours, maintaining physical distance between users
